Welcome to Viking Kennel.
My name is William May. I have a
beautiful wife(Angela) and 3
beautiful boys(Gage, Hunter, and
Brice).
We are located in Southwest
Florida, and we place the utmost
importance on Breed Type and
Temperament. A thorough balance
of this combined with structure,
movement, and health are the
principals our kennel is predicated.
I do not endorse gossip, dishonesty,
politics, gangsters [or wannabees],
puppy mills or dogfighting. I strive
for perfection and to maintain a
high level of professionalism. I will
never inundate you with things that
backyard breeders use to pull your
attention away from the dogs such
as A-framed dogs, gangster rap, or
half naked women. I build
swimming pools for a living and do
not rely on selling dogs for income.
My American Staffordshire Terrier
breeding program is AKC exclusive
and will be maintained completely
independent of my American Pitbull
Terrier program. Although I
understand the history of the 2
breeds and realize they have the
same origins, I will never cross
breed the two.
In this day and age there are
thousands of Amstaff and pitbull
breeders. So why acquire a dog from
Viking Kennel? First consider the
people running the kennel. I myself
have played musical instruments
for 26 years, have built pools for the
same contractor for 11 years, owned
the same house since 1999, been
with the same woman for 10 years. I
am an avid weightlifter and have
trained in martial arts for the last 4
years. In addition, I am father of 3
children and in the last 4 years
[with limited showing only in
Florida] I have attained Champion
or Grand Champion titles in
conformation on close to 20 dogs
[not counting at least a dozen for
other people]. So what does that all
have to do with the price of tea in
China, you say? Simple, it shows
that I am stable(not going
anywhere), well rounded, hard
working and honest. Probably the
kind of guy you want to buy a dog
from. We utilize our knowledge of
genetics, pedigrees, as well as health
histories to scientifically and
consistently produce dogs with
superior bone structure, head pieces,
muscle volume and tone,
conformation and temperament.
We have a lifelong commitment to
preserving the American
Staffordshire Terrier and American
Pitbull Terrier.
